VALIDATED ASSESSMENT PROCESS
The exercise workflow is as followed…
1. Simulation
The Exercise
To complete this exercise, the student has a single burr. The objective is to seat the head of the burr at the entry point, steadily follow the line and exit at the exit point.
2. self-assessment
Yes / No Questions
After completing the exercise, students are given the chance to grade their own performance according to the set questions.
3. simulator scoring
Automated Feedback
After students have committed their self-assessment scoring, they will then be told whether they actually passed the criteria based on an automated assessment which has been validated.
4. Self Reflection
Learning Diary
Following the automated assessment, students are given the opportunity to reflect on their work, their posture and other areas on what was good and what could be improved.

Students can access Virteasy Assistant directly from the simulator. They only need to click the profile tab and can then launch it to view their records.
Teachers can access Virteasy Assistant from the Teacher PC to review the student’s self-assessment, the simulator’s automated assessment and can also review / print the 3D model, give a custom grade and leave feedback for the student.
